Hillside Public Schools had an outstanding districtwide celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 13th, 2024! Hillside Families and Community members filled the Hillside High School auditorium, as students from A.P. Morris, Hurden Looker, Deanna G. Taylor Academy, and Ola Edwards performed. Artwork from Hillside Innovation Academy, W.O.K, and Hillside High School students was showcased throughout the auditorium. The Hillside High School dance ensemble performed as well! Thank you to the students, staff, and faculty who made this event successful. Thank you, Superintendent Glover, Board of Education President Ms. Best, the Hillside Board of Education, all of our community members in attendance, and those streaming the celebration from home! Most importantly, Hillside Public Schools appreciates and honors the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the historic pursuit of civil rights!
